Thomas Jefferson wrote in 1787 that "The basis of our governments being the opinion of the people, the very first object should be to keep that right; and were it left to me to decide whether we should have a government without newspapers or newspapers without a government, I should not hesitate a moment to prefer the latter. But I should mean that every man should receive those papers and be capable of reading them."
i think the problem is not alack of insurance but its alack of doctors.what good will be a health care if there are not enough doctors to satisfy patient demands? Lack of physicians is big problem in rural and poor urban areas while in cities average wait times to see a specialist are on the rise as more patients seek appointments with fewer doctors. I think the best way to deal with this is to enough medical schools in united states. we can not servive with out doctors. the need is always there and everyone needs health taken care. the fewer the doctors the higher the rate of death from preventable diseases. also the greater to access to primary care the better the health. i think this field should be the highest paid field because it is all about dealing with our own lifes. also all doctors should be able to provide regularly primirary care.
